Eric Anderson joined the Times Union in 2005 as deputy business editor after having served as business editor of The Daily Gazette in Schenectady for the previous 15 years. He became the Times Union’s business editor in 2009. In addition to editing that section, he writes frequently about the local economy, transportation issues, technology and labor. He earned his MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a graduate of the University at Albany with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a second field in Economics.
