Speaker: Carrie Hillenbrandt, Corporate Director of Sales at BBL Hospitality

Our speaker will discuss how BBL Hospitality marketed and branded itself and how those strategies can apply to other businesses. She will also offer sales advice, including the importance of speaking with the top decision makers, overcoming customer resistance and pricing oneself competitively in a challenging economy. 

With a marketing degree from Siena College, Carrie Hillenbrandt has more than 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She currently leads the strategic sales efforts for BBL Hospitality’s 11 managed hotels and 8 restaurants, playing an integrated role in working with hotel and sales personnel to develop new opportunities and grow existing business.

In 2012, Hillenbrandt was designated as one of the Women of Excellence by the Women’s Business Council of the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce. She was also recently named one of the region’s “40 Under Forty” by the Business Review.

BBL Hospitality is a hotel and restaurant management company that develops, owns and operates facilities along the east coast of the United States. Over the past several decades, BBL Hospitality and its affiliates have constructed more than 40 hotels representing in excess of 2 million square feet of hotel space and over 3,000 rooms.
