Speaker: Michael J. Hickey, CEG

Michael Hickey, Interim President & CEO of the Center for Economic Growth will meet with the Consulting Alliance members to discuss current initiatives at CEG and to explore how the Consulting Alliance and CEG might collaborate.  This will continue our series of breakfast with regional leaders.

Mike took on the role of President and CEO of the Center for Economic Growth in July of 2015 after serving as its board chair.  Mike has over 25 years’ experience in technology businesses, with the last 15 as a software executive.  For the past five years he has served as the Siena College Executive in Residence and Executive Director of the Stack Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He has served as an officer for two public companies.  Mike was a key leader in the business that bought over 12 companies.  In his previous role as President of Pitney Bowes Software, he managed a global software business to record revenue of $400 million with over 1900 employees.

Additionally, Mike is President of The Hickey Group; an executive consulting firm that helps CEO’s maximize their growth potential through strategy, execution, teamwork and leadership.  He is also an investor and one of the initial members of the Eastern New York Angels, an investment fund and mentor network for business start-ups.
