Meetings & Events

Monthly luncheon meetings are open to the public and include guest speakers of interest to the general business community. These meetings offer opportunities for networking and meeting other consultants. They are held on the 2nd Friday of each month at Wolferts Roost Country Club, and the cost is $25 for guests and $20 for members. Please register online (below) at least 48 hours before the event; late registrations add $5.

Members-only meetings are also held monthly, with the schedule announced below. These meetings feature a “Member Spotlight”, which provides a member with an opportunity to familiarize attendees with his or her business or a special project of particular interest. The remainder of the agenda features presentations and discussions focused on business development or skill-building. Occasionally we also discuss Alliance business and ways to improve our organization. Fees for these meetings are the same as for the luncheons.

Cancellations:  Reservations are considered firm unless cancelled 48 hours prior to the program. The Alliance has the right to charge the full amount to registrants who do not cancel.

    This presentation is for Consulting Alliance Members & Area Consultants seeking to become members of the Consulting Alliance 

    The Roadmap To Results is back in 2013 and promises to be bigger and better.

    This luncheon event will serve as an exciting opportunity to learn how last years winners benefited from their awarded consulting engagements. BESS Technologies CEO Fernando Gomez-Baquero and Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless President Bonnie St. Onge will share their experience with the Consulting Alliance and help us learn how this years initiative can grow and improve.

    Members will also discover how they can take part in the fun and excitement. Last years teams learned how members can work together professionally, gain valuable experience, promote their skills expertise, gain access to viable business leads, and help the Consulting Alliance grow to meet the future needs of the Capital Region.

    Steven M. Egna, CBA, ABAR, CM&AA will be featured in our Member Spotlight presentation this month.

    Our speakers will reveal why marketing is the greatest gift entrepreneurs can give to the people they are meant to serve; how to avoid the three biggest mistakes heart-centered entrepreneurs make when marketing to their audiences; and what makes people eager and excited to pay for an entrepreneur’s services.

    Ronald K. Smith, aka Rono, is an intuitive lifestyle coach drawing expertise from more than 20 years of international vocal stage performances. Through his eclectic background in marketing, design, teaching and more, he inspires his clients to overcome their challenges and find success.  Former clients include Jaguar Cars North America, Genlux Magazine, The RAY Magazine, Hsin Tao International, Herbal Answers Inc., as well as many successful entrepreneurs from around the country. Currently, he is a lead coach and co-founder of the LifeStylized Success Center – a heart-centered life coaching company and community event center. 

    Sierra J. Sullivan is an accomplished creative visionary and grassroots community organizer. Most widely known for her work with The RAY Magazine, a feminine empowerment lifestyle magazine for women, Sullivan has always had a passion for gathering women in a meaningful, supportive habitat.  In 2010, she relocated from Los Angeles, CA, to Saratoga Springs, NY, where she has since created numerous women-centric events, workshops and gatherings including the first Saratoga Women’s Fest, a city-wide celebration of women, women’s history and feminine leadership.  Currently, she is a lead coach and co-founder of the LifeStylized Success Center.
