"Are You a Reluctant Salesperson?"
Facilitator: Peter Coombs, FRONTLINE Training & Consulting
Even if you aren’t a salesperson, you may have Sales Call Reluctance. In fact, many full-time salespeople have it. It’s the feeling of not wanting to reach out to a prospect and talk about your product or service. If the feeling is strong enough, it can block or undermine your business development efforts.
In this meeting we will examine the roots of Sales Call Reluctance, and show you how to overcome this barrier to your success. Many people say or feel “I don’t want to be a pushy salesperson!” Don’t worry. I don’t want you to be that either. I want you to be a successful businessperson, with productive and successful relationships with your clients.
Since founding FRONTLINE in 1987, Peter Coombs has worked closely with a wide range of organizations, including Ford Motor Company, Transamerica, PepsiCo, MapInfo, Godiva Chocolatier and numerous Federal and New York State agencies. Training programs have included Presentation Skills, Sales Training, Time Management, and Communicating Effectively. He has trained throughout the United States and Europe. Recently, Peter began a series of workshops to help business people who would rather not have to sell and present. Janet Sanders will be featured in our Member Spotlight presentation this month.
